DESCRIPTION:Would you like to taste the best olive oils on the Swiss market? \nUnder the motto “independence\, neutrality & professionalism” the ZHAW has held the Olive Oil Award Zurich\, well-known over the last 20 years as a long-term ZHAW research project\, that especially monitors the sensory quality of olive oils on the Swiss market. \nIn this context\, the Swiss Olive Oil Panel – active since 2002 and accredited according to ISO 17025 as well as recognized by the International Olive Oil Council (COI) – evaluated all participating olive oils in a multi-stage test procedure\, by means of objective sensory analysis – meaning: \n\nthe official panel tests\,\na detailed flavor profiling\,\nand the final evaluation of the quality-index “harmony”.\n\nTogether this formed a profound basis for the identification of olive oils with outstanding sensory quality available on the Swiss market\, and we invite you to taste some of them. \nThe tasting list will be publisched after the winners are revealed in May 2025
